Big News from the Johnson Family!
What a year it has been for the Johnson Family. For those of you close to us, you know God had been leading us on quite a journey and we are very excited to announce that the next stop on our journey will be in Asheville, NC where I have accepted a position as the Campus Pastor for the Asheville campus of Seacoast Church!
Seacoast Church is headquartered in Charleston, SC and has 13 campuses located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina & Georgia. From our first conversation with them, Katey & I have been impressed by their staff’s depth of character and their commitment to following Jesus and proclaiming Him as Lord. They have a well-deserved reputation for excellence in everything they do – from small groups, to Sunday morning services, and to discipleship. Through the process, we have been amazed to see how deeply we share a common vision for discipleship and mission. I cannot wait for the opportunity to learn from them and to be a part of helping them further their mission.
We are also very excited to partner with the wonderful people we met at the Asheville Campus! They are an incredible bunch of people who love Jesus and love their city. We can’t wait to see what the Lord does in and through us as we minister together.
We are sad to leave our family, dear friends and Eikon community here in Denver. It’s hard to imagine life without them, and we are trusting and praying that the Lord will provide a wonderful group of friends in Asheville. That said, thank you for all you have done to love us, support us and make us laugh! We love you more than we can say!
